Requirements:-
  • For PROBATIONARY ENGINEER, GEN / OBC candidates with first class in B.E / B.Tech / B.Sc Engineering Graduate from AICTE approved Colleges in Electronics / Electronics and Communication / Electronics & Telecommunication / Communication / Telecommunication / Mechanical / Computer Science / Computer Science and Engineering. Candidates with first class in AMIE / GIETE, in the above disciplines are also eligible to apply. SC/ST/PWD candidates with pass class in the above degree/disciplines are eligible to apply.
  • Candidates currently studying in the final semester / final year of BE / B.Tech / B.Sc engineering and who will be taking their final semester/final year exams by June/July 2011 are also eligible to apply. 
  • The maximum age limit for General candidates is 25 years of age as on 01.04.2011 for all posts.

  • Candidates are required to note down and keep a record of the auto generated Application Number that will appear after the online application format has been filled in correctly and submitted. This Number will be required for accessing, downloading and printing the written test call letter that will be placed on the BEL website on 10.06.2011 at 1400 hours.(tentative)

METHOD OF SELECTION:-


Selection will be through written test and interview of shortlisted candidates based on performance in the written test.

Candidates who meet the qualifying criteria and whose online application is accepted are required to log on to the website and enter their application no. to access and download their written test call letter. Candidates are required to print the call letter and comply with the instructions indicated therein. Please note that call letters will not be sent through e-mail or through conventional mail.

Candidates, whose applications are accepted through the process of submission of online applications, are eligible to attend the written test at the respective centre. The call letters will be uploaded on the website on 10.06.2011

THE WRITTEN TEST WILL BE HELD ON 26.06.2011

The written test will be held at Bangalore, Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Guwahati centres. Candidates should choose the test centre nearest to their place of correspondence. SC/ST/PWD candidates will be reimbursed II Class to and fro train fare by the shortest route (from their correspondence address to the written test exam centre) for attending the written test on production of Railway Ticket Receipts and copy of the relevant caste / disability certificate, without which no reimbursement will be made. SC/ST/PWD are required to download and print the Traveling Allowance Format which is available in the advertisement. The Traveling Allowance Claim Form will be handed over to the Invigilator at the time of the written test. Please note that the candidates who have not downloaded, printed and filled the Traveling Allowance Claim form and with the required enclosures will not be paid TA. Request for change in the written test centres will not be entertained at any point of time.

The written test will consist of Objective type questions from basic Engineering subjects in the respective disciplines / specialisations and General Aptitude. The list of candidates short-listed in the written test for interview, will be placed on the BEL website on the 1st / 2nd week of August 2011 (tentatively).  They will be required to appear for an interview for final selection. The results of selection will be available on the BEL website through query mode.
 
AGE LIMIT: As on 01.04.2011:-

The maximum age limit for General candidates as on 01.04.2011 will be 25 years. Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates. In respect of PWD candidates upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years.

In respect of PWD candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC category, the age relaxation admissible will be over and above the relaxation admissible for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC.

For candidates who had ordinarily been domiciled in the state of Jammu & Kashmir during the period 01.01.1980 to 31.12.1989, the upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for General candidates, 8 years for OBC candidates and 10 years for SC/ST candidates.

Relaxation will be extended as per Govt. guidelines in respect of Ex-Serviceman.

SCALE OF PAY:-
Candidates selected against the above position, will be placed in E-II grade, at the minimum of the pay scale of Rs.16400-3%-40500/- . In addition, they will be entitled to DA, HRA, Conveyance Allowance, Performance Related Pay, Medical Reimbursement and other perquisites as admissible.

BEL Recruitment 2011 - 2012 for Engineers on Contract Basis for Naval Systems:-

Requirements:

Qualification: First class in BE/ B.Tech (Electronics / Electronics & Communication, Electronics & Telecommunication.) from a recognized University/ institution.

Age: Less than 25 Yrs as on 01.08.2011.

Reservation: Relaxation to SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates will be as per Govt rules.

Remuneration: An all-inclusive consolidated remuneration of Rs. 12,000/- per month.

Period of contract: One year from the date of joining, however the same may be extended depending on the progress of the project and performance of the candidate.

Job: The requirement is in the areas of R&D /Testing / production/ Purchase / Production Control/ QA/Sales, Material Control and Subcontract.

Experience: Preference will be given to those with one year experience in the similar area preferably in Engineering Industry .Candidates who have undergone One year Apprenticeship training will be preferred.

Method of Selection: Selection will be through written test (objective type question in above diciplines) followed by an interview. Eligible candidates, who satisfy the above conditions, will be called for written test/ interview. Candidates are required to produce all original certificates, a copy of each of them and a recent passport size colour photograph, on the day of the written test / interview. Selected candidates have to deposit their original degree marks / certificates with the Company

Candidates who have not completed BE / B Tech. need not apply.
Those who are unable to produce their Degree marks cards and certificates in original on the day of the written test / interview for whatever reason will not be considered.

Local candidates will be preferred. Only Indian Nationals need to apply.

Apply in the prescribed format and mail the filled in application to hrns@bel.co.in. Candidates short listed for the test will be informed through E-mail regarding the date of written test & interview.

If there are more eligible applicants, the number of candidate to be called will be restricted in proportion to the requirement based on academic excellence, experience, age etc. Experience will be relaxed in case of candidate with relevant experience.

BEL reserves the right to debar/ disqualify any candidates at any stage of the Selection Proceedings, for reason whatsoever. Canvassing in any form will result in disqualification.'
